Established in early 2023, Kapolei Primary Care Clinic, LLC overcame numerous obstacles to bring our vision to life. The idea of having an independent primary clinic was born when Ian completed his IM residency in West Virginia and Mafe pursued further education in San Francisco to become a clinician. Their dedication to healthcare stems from experiences at the Philippine Heart Center while Ian served as a resident physician and Mafe as a CCU charge nurse. It was here that they discovered a shared passion for healthcare services.

Drawing from their expertise in the acute care, emergency, and critical care settings in the US, Ian and Mafe are equipped to excel in primary care. Their journey has been fueled by hard work, lifelong learning, and a commitment to patient care, driving them to become an independent provider.

Kapolei Primary Care Clinic aims to be family-oriented and holistic, addressing health disparities and leaving a positive impact on the community. KPCC tends to leave a footprint in Kapolei, the second urban city of Honolulu County.
